3/1/2023 0 Comments Renoise forumIt's not that important to me at the moment tbh and might never become important either as I don't think I'll ever be considering using Renoise in place of Live which is why I will most likely opt for Redux in the end once I click with it. I literally have no clue though as to how you actually go about chopping from scratch in Renoise. Thanks SpaceTraffic wrote: Tue 9:41 pm Thanks I really like this. I really like that panning, grumbly, vocal sounding voice. With that alone though I was getting into things I need to set up in a sampler and generally running into interesting patterns and chops that might take ages in Live. Renoise 3.4 - a little piece to celebrate the update Cheers Oh, 3.4 now with Raspberry Pi and M1 support I enjoyed this. It features a wide range of built-in audio processors, alongside support for all commonly used virtual instrument and effect plug-in formats. The only sequencing I have done in Renoise so far is a mirror of that but instead of having 'X' amount of chops, I just have the one break and start it from different points which I know are all perfectly on time. The Renoise forum is also very active and you can ask questions there if you are stuck. It lets you compose, edit and record production-quality audio using a music tracker-based approach. I like working in audio to prep breaks so I've ended up making a whole bunch now - which I'll use instead of going to the original all the time ( They are originals still but I tend to replace bad hits, tighten 8ths, gate eq where I want etc etc )īut because I like sequencing in chunks usually and I know all the prepped breaks have grid aligned 8ths, I can sequence that way too ie: chop from 1st kick, 1st snare blah blah.
